I've visited this site a few times, but have never been happy with any of the shots I've taken. Thought I'd try a couple of different ones this time...
1/ The memorial to the crew..
2/ I think this is a headset socket, in the pilot's seat armour.
3/ Propellor hub
4/ Different angle..
5/ One of the remaining engines - other one is partly buried.
Ironically, I was almost eaten alive by the mosquito's little relative, the midgie. They were hellish! In my ears, up my nose, aaaaarggghhhhh. Unfortunately they were so bad I couldn't bear to spend as much time there as would have liked
