MOTOGP Silverstone 2014

Hi everyone,

Here are some of my shots from Friday and Saturday. Some are better than others as I struggled a little with shooting through the fence. I didn't have a big enough aperture. But im really pleased with how they have come out.

Its my third year at motogp Silverstone and have only shot from grandstands. I wanted to try and get a different perspective this year.

Nice set Mat especially the exhaust trails in #2. Looks like the 500mm helped if you were shooting from the stands. Could maybe be a little sharper, some PP should help that

Just out of interest, where on the track were #2, #3 and #4 shot from?

Also which 500mm lens are were you using?

David, these were shot just as they entered the wellington straight from the loop.

I was using the sigma 50-500 lens...

Hi Mat - great set - that fence is an almighty pain (in some respects!).
Great racing - wonder where we'll all be next year!
