Received my new 'little Beercan' yesterday and tried a portrait of my daughter using the macro setting.

Focussed on the nearest eye at f4 - not sure I shouldn't have closed own a bit to get the other eye in focus.

Cropped, exposure reduced slightly and contrast upped a tad with B&W conversion.

It's a good shot - I think the DoF is just right - If it was increase I think it would lose it's impact and go flat.
