I have never seen a live badger before, plenty of road kill badgers, but never a living one. Then a friend suggested that he knew a site where there were was a sett. High iso and slow shutter speeds for the last hour or so of light were a real challenge, but I thouroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

thanks for looking.

Wow, you are lucky to see them like that. I have only seen live badgers once at night using a torch.

The second (and third - same photo?) is particularly good. The penultimate one is nice too. I expect you are really pleased with those - I would be.

Why don't you enter one in to the Country File photo competition?

Apart from the first one which is too far away and a bit underexposed, they are all very good for exposure and tight composition. Great memories of an exciting occasion!
