B&W My first TP post - Ice Cream Thought

Wanted to share one of my favorites for my first post.
This is Jack, my nearly 4yr old son.
Thankfully, he refuses to go anywhere without his trilby style hat, which makes for some great shots. This is one I literally "grabbed" whilst he was eating his ice cream, which I love.
I've gone with a sepia tone as I think it suits the mood of the image. Your thoughts?
Thanks for looking, and any comments welcome.
(I have literally had my DSLR a month, so I'm still learning, so any tips appreciated)

Nice candid although for me it feels a bit tightly cropped..

Shame it wasn't a 99, a more traditional ice cream would probably fit with the processing better

Dan, you are absolutely right. The photographer in me said yes, whilst the parent in me said no, cause it will be down your T-shirt in seconds.
