First of all, the first one is more gray than B+W, it needs a lot more punch.

The second is better, but I think you need to shoot her some more, and catch one of her smiling, it will make all the difference

Its a bit better, but its not the greatest image to start with...

The angle you have shot from has accentuated the size of her head, making it appear larger than it is. There is also a harsh shadow been cast behind her, and due to no eye contact, you cant see any catchlights in her eyes, making them appear very lifeless.

Hope that was ok, that is by no means a moan about your g/d, she is a lovely little thing, but you need to be able to catch her cheeky side
