Well, that sounds like I've had one before... I haven't! This is a tiny space in my garage that I'm trying to use to practise with before I need a proper one. This was a bit unplanned, I'm having a proper test shoot next weekend but my I thought I'd test it out on my girlfriend yesterday. It went really well, we had fun and I'm pretty happy with the results :)

Obviously my lighting will need work as this is the first time I've used any kind of decent lighting... But not a bad start! :D

Comments on how I could improve would be really useful, thanks!

More on Flickr, as always.

You could do worse!

The first works great in mono and I think it's the strongest. I'm no expert but I can't see much too improve.

The background on #2 is questionable and I'm undecided.;) On another note could you throw some extra light on the background, just add some more depth and give your model more "pop" (if that makes sense).

Just my 2 cents. I'm trying to learn! :help:

both pretty good. I'd be happy with those.

no.2 I like as its different. makeup suits the model and background (some wrapping paper?) only thing is the angle of the background - maybe better head on?) I like the tilt of the shot.

nice work dude

I like them both, and I think the cupcake background really suits the shot;)

Nice one:)
