My quest...

To capture birds in flight.
Still haven't got a telephoto, so I figured the best place to start was by a lake.

I've had a few goes at this now and these taken yesterday are the first, I deemed worth sharing.

They're not bad at all, you've captured them all very well. I like the last one of the Blk Headed Gull. Did you crop it, because if you did I would have liked to see a bit more space in the front of the bird.

I'm humbled because I'm in the pressence of some truly wonderful photographers here.

I like the full frame on the gull! and those ducks are lovely! Quite comical looking as they fly out of the water, looks like they are reversing in?
