why are my Nikon shots far more noisy at ISO 1000 and higher - I have no problems getting rid of the background noise - but noise in the bird is difficult, especially if you add sharpening - is it just that most of mine are taken in open country, at some distance …..or is the Canon sensor is far better at High ISO's than the sensor in the D700 or D7100 ……. or maybe I have not got to the chapter in the CS6 book that covers this …. or is it a "trade secret"
