Beginner My very first bird (Blue Tit)

My Mum gave me a bird feeder. I hung it up, and lo and behold - birds appeared! I thought I'd set-up a trigger system next to the feed as I only have a 105mm. And bingo, really cool!

Nicely done and really like the first shot, I found the best way of trying out different shutter speeds, aperture and anything else is with a cup of tea and using a trigger release from comfort of my lounge!

Congrats on the shots.
I love doing a similar thing wth my 500mm lens, a long usb cable to my computer and a brew.

I've also set up a branch below my feeder which allows a nice natural looking shot.

Might also be worth using a flash in a soft box off to one side to fill in the shadows a bit (or a reflector if you prefer)
