Yet another Whipsnade Zoo thread! Theres been some great images already and I don't think I can match them - even with 200mm on a crop sensor I felt I was struggling!

Anyway here's the pick of my shots....

ps. great to meet you all - even though I randomly ended up wondering off on my own for most of the time!

I think the Cheetahs were my favourite animals - they're so cute and playful!

You've caught some seriously good poses there. I would say that ceiling out at 200mm hasn't limited you in the slightest.

I love the Lemur shot, and you've got an interesting study of the lesser camouflaged Tripoder!!

Really love the cheetah's, it was nice to see them playing around and you've captured them well

Taking 200mm to the zoo - that's like taking a knife to a gunfight. I think you've done well with these. The tiger looks gorgeous and the lemur pic is a cutie. The wolves aren't bad either.

I would say you need a longer lens. At least 300mm.

But great pics anyway.

Some great shots, especially considering the limitations of reach you had. Photographically, the 2 llama shots are the stand out stunners imo, but I love the tiger shot, looks like he is really doing everything he can to get on eye-level with you
