Name a bird

Great Stuff Bill - many thanks

May I point out one or two corrections to your treatise:

Goldeneye - requested but not delivered
SEO - shown but omitted from your list
Red-necked Grebe - requested but not delivered
Ruff - can't see it?

Hope this helps :)

Russ

Thanks Russ

I've just included some approx page references to help the Page number refer to the bottom of the page

Ruff is there - Page 7
Red-necked Grebe - we had problems so a link was provided
SEO - what's a SEO?
GoldenEye - Page 4? #131

if you see anymore don't hesitate to point them out and I'll try to keep the list up to date

Thanks for all that Bill - keep up the gate-keeping!
SEO is a Short Eared Owl and I posted one as #265 - please include on your list between Tawny Owl and Black-tailed Godwit

Ta,
Russ

Cory's Shearwater asked for

I am sure Scopoli's Shearwater would be acceptable as no-one, (very few) can tell them apart … so Collins informs me

the night is young ……. so you have plenty of time

Hey guys, I still can't see the Ruff image that was requested - can someone give me a post number for the image please?

There was never an image of a Ruff - we got a Fieldfare - as I said at the time - we need to go back - and I have no idea how the Fieldfare got there - we really should have gone back to the Little Tern

Can someone on the coast get their search light and and see if there is a Shearwater around ……. and don't forget your camera

I do not think that we have had a White Wagtail or it's UK sub species the Pied Wagtail

Shearwaters, even in drag, don't perch, they live on the open sea

Blue Tits are attractive bird and even if it was asked for it has already been posted

Gramps, we don't need to start again imho. All it takes is for people to keep reasonably abreast of recent posts, and look at the lists that Bill and Darren have taken effort to compile.

Okay, as you were ... I'll leave it to you to get it back on track :)

I'm still arguing about "photographic art" ……… but the last one is not easy unless I drive down to the Algarve

So what are we looking for?

both really good and difficult shots - fight between yourselves for what's next!!!!!

but I suppose it should be A cockerel/rooster

If no-one has one I have one as our neighbour has a couple as pets, would you believe she takes them backwards and forwards UK/France every time she travels in the car

apparently, according to the customs, if they are pets they are OK, but if they are not you need a license

Black headed Gull please
