Found it in the kitchen just sitting there the other morning so I placed it on some acrylic and it admired itself for about 10 min while I snapped away. Seem to be a lot of them about acting rather aimless, possibly being the end of the season/ lifespan.

Cheers Andy, it is pretty good for reflections but does scratch easily. Still a lot cheaper than a proper first surface mirror would be.

You make it sound so easy!

Lovely lighting, and super detail. I'd be sorely tempted to shave a hair off the top of the 1st one (or add a bit of black to the bottom) to balance the wing distance from the edge of the frame. The other two are perfect.

Thanks Ian, "snapped away" might be the slightly condensed version of the mini studio session. There was some playing about with stuff too... (lighting and exposure).

I see what you mean in regards to #1, will have a play with the crop when I get back home later and see how it looks.
