Treated myself to a Sigma 2.8 70-300 macro and first chance to use it this afternoon and the drizzle started so had to use 60th at f8 for this chaffinch who rarely visits the feeder as he prefers to dine at ground level. Now looking forward to some decent light!​
 
Ohh I'm looking to buy one of these! Saving my pennies. Although I'm gonig to buy in America so much cheaper. I like the composition of the first one just needs a good sharpen.
 
If your looking for a Nikon fit I got one for sale, incl filters. Its the DG variant not the APO though.

Was going to get it in the States but hit NY on a Saturday and shop Kosher!
