Nikon 18-70mm V 18-135mm

Just wondered if anyone has used both these lenses, and how you think they compare, probably more interested in the 18-135mm to be honest, as i have the 18-70mm and know how good that one is, but i'm just trying to gauge the comparisons of both, any feedback greatly appreciated, thanks

I have used both, on a D200/80 and 70 and I seem to recall the 18-70 being a bit sharper although it was a couple of years ago. I have an 18-70 now too and it is a good performer although I prefer my sigma 18-50 or 24-70 because of the f2.8.

I too have had both, bought the 18-70 to replace the 18-135. my biggest gripe with the 18-153 is the plastic mount on the lens, mine snapped off when dropped onto soft grass fitted to the D200 !!!!
