Second visit of the year to Bruntingthorpe and again the weather played ball.
Some lovely blue skies early in the day made for some good photo opportunities, shame the Nimrod and Victor didn't quite make full throttle runs, but the two Lightning runs certainly made up for it.
The access to the aircraft never ceases to amaze me, long may it continue...

I know one of the guys who helps maintain the Nimrod there and had the opportunity for a full blown tour inside and out of both it and the Victor and to ride in it during a taxi run as well as to stand under it runway side while all the other planes ran at a fast taxi day a couple of years ago. Awesome planes up there and great that they keep them fully running (although not licenced to fly in most cases).
