I rather like that. The central positioning of the subjects and the chap with the raised arm work really well. I cropped in to remove the RH tree branch and it served the emphasis the subjects more.

I like it too and would agree with the above comment about cropping.

Could you lighten the sky a little as it does look a bit too underdone?

Yip I like this too, agree the sky could be lightened slightly and would remove the tree as it is a tad distracting and does not add to the photograph imo.
