Gulls on a sunset journey over the rooftops of Fleetwood, Lancashire, on their way to the nightly roosting place. A handheld shot at 300mm (35mm equiv), 1/160 @ f6.3, the camera pressed against a nearby post!

Thanks for the kind words folks - they're much appreciated. The complete shot was OKish, but the vertical crop had all the interesting bits in it, so that's the way I went.
