Oh Bonny Scotland

Ide have recommended a soft edge grad filter, the skies blown. To be honest other than the reflections and bits of mist in the hills, its a pretty dullly lit image. Its better to get a bit of sun behind you or to the side to give more interesting light. Dull grey days are days the camera should stay in the bag.

Unfortunately getting the sun to cooperate with anyone in Scotland is like peeing into the wind. You just take your chance and see what happens

For me, it is a well composed picture of yet another dramatically beautiful corner of the highland landscape, albeit under a familiarly bleak and chilly northern sky. I like it very much.
