First shot taken with my new A77. Entered into a competition over at Avforums themed 'Out of Place' so that was the motivation.

Nice idea, well realised, good use of DOF effect, it's just a crying shame you clipped the corner of the card :(
 
Yes, I thought the bit clipped was a shame. Nice idea though.

Any reason why so much space at the top. I ask, because if it was mine I might have cropped quite a bit off, but you may have a reason. :)
 
maybe the negative space is due to the theme..where awaiting a players hand or to place a card down(as in play) thats what i get from it..oh and i like it ;)
 
Cheers guys, I've left the space at the top as I felt it made the shot less 'busy' therefore highlighting the single red card even further.

And I did mess up clipping the right hand side.
