Paignton Zoo the compact way!

A few snaps I took when we visited the zoo with Chris Wilson (whose shots are WAY better than these [but he was using a D3 with an 80-400{IIRC} while I was using a compact with a 100mm EFL]) Cropped in camera.

The pelicans were being fed and I managed to time a couple reasonably well.
The Orang Utans were out, as was one of the Gorillas.
The baby Meercat is really cute!

Oops! The source on my laptop shows portraits in their correct orientation but cheating and dropping them in here using the Upload a File button turns them back round. :blush:

Look at Chris Wilson's shots and site/Flickr to see more (and far better!) shots of the orangs. He has a much better attention span than me!

Well, I've always had the attention span of a 3 year old but the events of almost 2 years ago have reduced it a little!

And I believe it was me who referred to the peacocks as twerking. (So does she!)
