The lens and its metal ring, to control aperture and shutter settings, make the CM1 21mm thick - considerably more than contemporary smartphones.

The CM1 also has 11.9cm touchscreen and a dedicated switch that instantly flips it into camera-mode.

That's just a camera with phone capability, it will never be a best seller...

Am i experiencing some lag here? or is the video from it 'juddery'? Didn't look that great. I'm sure the stills are great quality, but for that money you could get a very serious compact cam, that won't, as mike's pointed out, ring while you're shooting!
