"Panorama" for quality sake

I made this image from three shots with camera turned sideways (portrait) and camera set to manual so that there were no exposure "lines" and used panorama factory to stitch. There has been no other manipulation of this image (not even levels or curves) and I now have a 136mb tiff instead of the 76mb that a single file would have produced (using a wider angle lens). I am happy with the result and just wanted to share the technique as this is a great way of upping the quality of a shot for no extra cost;
