im at a lan party of 1500 ppl atm, having a great time, but before the lights went off i tryed to make my first panorama, by stitching 4 pictures together, i know the last one on the right is a bit off but thats cause i had to change something but the blending worked out ok i guess...

That's pretty good! It all looks decidedly geeky though. What on earth do you actually 'do' at a lan party?

playing competitions for games, earning money and hardware stuff out of it, in the evening drinking beer and sharing and watching porn while eating pizza, thats the usual for us...

heres a few gamers shots

i like the pic cause i was practicing with the 430ex again, and i got the opportunity to bounce it, with +2/3, i only made the blur a bit to strong in ps but ill edit that later

I've never heard of a lan party before and before I looked at your pic, from your description alone, I was thinking 10 guys sitting in an apartment. NOT 500 people sitting in a warehouse! Intersting...

500? you missed a 1... its 1500 ppl here bud (y) :bonk:

Musta skipped right over the number.... I have to ask thought why 1500 people in a room when not one of them is doing anything other than staring at a screen. Can't you do that at home?

ive been playing online games about 6 years now, and ive stick to the same team for 4 years, and they dont live quite near me, so being together a weekend is just hilarious cause you talk to each other on the forums and stuff...and then playing matches here instead of over the internet is way more intenser, + now you can download stuff which at home you cant, from dvd to music to software...

+ were in the finals for the counterstrike source compo, thats being sponsored by coolermaster, so we already bringing some cool hardware back to home :)

thats the 2nd reason haha, the prices you can earn

Playing on LAN is quicker than online = less or virtually no lag.
Better atmosphere.

No, I haven't been to one. lol

Quality fun, love hooking up with a load of mates for a LAN game, see you got a bit of Farcry going on there. Quality game that.

well done!

all good, very geeky(says Mr PC) but very cool

Very cool indeed!

Congrats on the CS:confused: win! What were the prizes? (Cant quite make out the boxes).

I always wanted to go to a LAN party during my CS and UT days but never got to be Cinderella. LOL
