They are brilliant Alby! I'm guessing the flash is in a different place to the one on the iphone? I find the macro lens covers the flash, perhaps I can try and adjust it somehow.

Edit. Just seen Bryn seems to have the same problem:)

Super pics all ... but I must say Alby those three are really excellent.

We are away in Devon next week, staying near a fishing lake, so I shall be on the prowl with phone in hand :)
Thanks Susie, enjoy your break and I'll look forward to seeing what you find.

A couple from me ..... I dont have access to my big screen computer, so hope they are okay :)

These ladybird made me smile ....ooooh errrr  :$ then the little aphid came along to take a look  then a major fight broke out between the two males, which I did catch but as they were moving it was a bit blurry!

Ladybird porn! :)

Some excellent shots here folks, sorry I haven't been around here lately but been really busy and I will be back in a couple of weeks when life should settle down. ;) will be taking my phone and adapters with me incase I see anything unusual worth photographing on my travels.

Just to let you all know I have been very impressed with the amazing quality of shots I've seen in this thread.

My macro lens arrived for my Galaxy S3 yesterday :)

This flew into the conservatory today ....it was very tiny, only about 1mm wide if that ....but it looks as if it has a bit sting. I was surprised once I had the photo to see that it has blue and black stripes...not visible normally. Not the greatest of photo's but I was wondering what it is o_O and do they sting.

It is a wasp Susie, it uses the pointy bit to inject an egg into an unsuspecting critter victim. Once the egg hatches it eats it way out of the host. You are quite safe though. :) Check out Google for Ichnuemon wasps

Oh thanks Alby .... I set it free in the garden ..... It certainly doesn't sound too friendly though.
ichneumons are used commercially for pest control so you did right rather then stepping on it. ;)

No harm in a bit of recycling Bryn :)

I have a bit more time to myself now, so hopefully can get out with the camera.

A couple from the garden with my iphone. I really love this one ...

Not a bee, it's a hoverfly. Nice capture...
