Well someone has to be first. Not quite where I live but only 10 miles up the road, Mow Cop is a great spot to look out over Cheshire and Staffordshire, and actually with a very powerful pair of bins you could see my house from there.

Deepest I've seen this ford, 2.5 ft deep in the middle...just before this I took a shot of a tractor and couldn't retreat fast enough as a tidal wave came towards me I set the Konica TC on auto for exposure and thought it did a decent job against the sun (used my hand to shield the lens)
I took this about 5 minutes from my house, and as you all know, this kind of sky has been a familiar sight this 'winter'. I tried to do my bit for the locals by placing a water tower under it!
