Pied Flycatcher and Common Redstart

A couple of shots from today's trip into Wales. Got 100s to get through, but thought I'd air a few. Got a backlog of images now.

The redstart is a slight crop at 700mm, and the pied fly is full frame at 500mm.

Very glad I didn't wait around all day locally for the bluethroat to show... which it failed to do. More from this trip to come...
