Pond at the back of work

There is a little pond out the back where I work, I have a Sigma DG 70-300 for my D3100 (200-300 macro) but have not really had any success with it. Went for a walk at lunch time and managed to capture this fella before he vanished.

Lovely detail and a stunning, clean background

They look a tad over exposed but that could be my iPad rather than the pics.

Very impressive Alan and way better than I've ever managed with my Canon 70-300 IS! Did you leave this to AF or did you focus manually? Maybe it's time I dug out my Sigma and tried it again!

Af and there was 10 shots either side of that one that I missed the focus on, I'm not quite quick enough with manual focus yet although a did use manual focus on the spider shot.

Nice sharp captures with great background but way overexposed. It's a four spotted chaser.
