Poppy Waterfall

A little late maybe, taken on Monday, Ringley Bridge in Stoneclough, Bolton was built in 1677, and this year it was covered with a waterfall of poppies, all made from old plastic bottles.

Absolutely lovely.

Passed one the other day which emerged from the bell louvres of the church tower and ran right down to he ground.

As I spent my childhood with a grandfather who had a prosthetic right leg after loosing his in WW1 I always love to see support for their sacrifice.
