My girlfriend wanted a pic for her Facebook so i took the pic &
gave me instructions on how she wanted it processing.

This is the end result which i think is a little 'tangoed' but she likes
the final version with the added 'sun tan' :wacky:

I like this but only one slight niggle ..the flash is a bit strong on the cheek yet ot in her glasses so I guess you bounced off the ceiling and its far to good for facebook mate
 
It'll be ok for facebook. But I think you should sort out the colour and the area by her glasses which has changed the shape of her face. I'd done a quick edit.
Also you can reduce the glow on her check when you do the skin smoothing, but it depends on the blending mode and the method you use.

Thank you - the flash was actually the pop up unit with a HK Ebay diffuser.

I too prefer the more 'natural' look but she chose the 'sun kissed' look :(

I do like you edit though,much better in my opinion (y)
 
looks more natural now natjaj we all learn one way ...help from the forums, I wouldnt have noticed till you did this a good photo made better
