Hi all,

I bought a second hand tri-reflector on the forums to try on location - mad as it seems.

I coped better than I thought - light enough to carry around the small park, left me hands free and was fairly flexible to different scenarios.

It's definitely puts a barrier between you and the model, so you need enough confidence to connect with the person being photographed.

This is also my third outing with the fuji and am loving it.

Happy for C&C on these images.

Thanks for looking, Mandy

My favourite is #4 although skin tones seem a tad washed out/bright. The others seem a little low in the frame (apart from #3) with crops through the elbows on 2 of them. Very nice DOF, clarity & colour and great looking model.

I like all these apart from 5, the model is to central in the frame for my liking and i'm not keen on the bokeh either.

All in my opinion of course :)

It's all good @ swissy I'd not considered cropping to make a stronger composition, so it's useful to get a fresh point of view.

The bohkeh is a new one for me too as it's the 3rd time I've used the fuji 56. It might be that the plants were waving in the wind?
