I've got the opportunity to photograph a small bachelor herd of Przewalski's Horses. They belong to Marwell but live a semi-wild life on a private SSSI elsewhere. Unfortunately they were too curious and kept getting closer than I wanted for my 500mm lens!

Nice shots, I like the composition of no 1 , and nice and sharp too.

#1 From what you say, I guess this is not a crop ?
TBH body shots without the legs rarely work,
also there is rather a lot of negative space to the left.
The horse is coming and looking pretty much straight at you.
It makes it look unbalanced IMO.

2) Nice portrait, definitely the best of the 2
