Lovely shots, I'm here at the moment, hoping to get on the island tomorrow or friday. What lenses did you use?

Sorry Sarah did not see you question till now , i used the 300 2.8 with the 1.4 on , i thought this would be a bit too long but ,as you can see it was just right , I hope you get over to the island , they used a ticketing system on a first come first served basis , if you get the first boat over you are the first to come back , look forward to seeing you pictures

I would recommend a 70-200 for shots of puffins at the Wick and at least a 300mm for the razorbills and guillemots at the landing although the latter are starting to thin out already with chicks already fledging.

The little owl is showing well to the west of the farmhouse but you'll need a really long lens to get a shot.
