I think the 1st image is a tad dark, No2 however: Is spot on well caught

second is good. The problem for my eye in the first is the bright white signage, it is the first thing I see and keeps pulling the eye. While the subjects are interesting looking, they are not doing anything interesting (picking his nose?) and lots of turned heads.
