The Red Arrows made their usual trip to Cromer Carnival today, so I thought it would be worth getting the camera out.
Harder than at first thought this plane photography, I'd be interested in what focussing techniques people use, I kept losing the point of focus at the critical moment.

I would tweek the colours so the sky looks a little more sky coloured! Might even be tempted to rotate it 180 degrees so the planes are flying up.

I quite like the very dark blue, but my son agrees with you about the sky, so I'll take another look at it.

Here's another shot, again with a dark blue sky, it was a beautiful day today.

 
I quite like the dark blue sky in both shots.Did you use Ai servo and fixed focus point?images look sharp in them two pictures.

Yes AI servo and the centre focus point. The af really hunted though which took me a while to get used to. I ended up picking a plane and tracking it whilst trying to remember the arrows routine. I missed a few shots as a result.
