Critique Red Kite Sky or Not?

Hi, have been using On1 software and it gives an option like others to replace skies so does this make it a better image or does it look false? Thanks for opinions, Russ.

In that case.. very false.

The light is competely different and the halos are nasty!

Sometimes it works others not so. I would have gone for a blue sky myself

The halos are a giveaway and it just doesn't sit right. Better to wait for a nice day with better skies and light.

I wouldn't bother. It's not much of an improvement TBH.

However the revised version of the bird looks better anyway. It looks like you or the software has opened up the shadow areas which helps. You could even do more.

It's a no from me Russ. The light just looks wrong. The halos are om the original so maybe a little oversharpened but as Jerry says. the bird itsellf is improved in the second
