Beginner Redwing in the Snow.

Took the camera out for a little walk in the snow. A little too late for the full blanket snow, but the thaw has brought birds out to feed.

That's good, I've been seeing a lot of these lately, not seen them before.
Every time I try to catch a shot, they're a bit skittish and fly off.

Yeah, there were hundreds of them hopping back into the trees every time something moved. First time I've ever seen them.

I saw one this afternoon, by the time I took mywide angle lens off it flew away, for the record it was in the Pencoedtre area of Barry, S Wales
