Hello I had a quick search and it seems my possible option are:

PHOTTIX AION
Does this work with 70D?
Battery are 2x2 AA

It's a bit unclear because some description only mentioned 60D but I think the plug is the same from 60d to 70D? I need it to do, wireless trigger and also intervalometer as I would like to try timelapse at night (why did cannot didn't built a intervalometer in, it doesn't sound like something difficult to do!). Are these all suitable and is there other option (preferably on the cheap side)? The Yongnuo seems good enough for me only downside is the funny CR2 battery but I can buy spare in advance not to run out

Thanks Brian even more choice! Looks interesting.

Daz, I had a quick look at the magic lantern last night, and I'm a bit dazzle by installing this on a brand new camera. How do you find using it? Am I right to think that the magic lantern replace all the canon menu (although canon menu run in the background). Screenshot of the interface looks a bit archaic and complex. How do you find using it.

I also forgot to mentioned before other people had their ideas that I have a prehistoric mobile phone so I'm not interested in mobile phone app and stuff like this.

I've had Magic Lantern on all my Canon cameras. Your still get the Canon menu, but when you press a certain button (delete on the 5D) is launches a hidden menu. It is basic, but it works. Just don't change anything you're not sure about.

I installed it specifically for the purposes of doing a timelapse and it works brilliantly.

This ^^

I also use the "DSLR controller" app (6D via Wifi) on my tablet or phone and it has similar capabilities.

Another plus 1 for Magic Lantern. Very very easy to get working, not archaic. And works perfectly as an intervalometer but better as you can have ramping set on it aswell.

Hmmmm, interesting and FREE!
How can canon be so stupid not to build that in if free developer can had it to the camera possibilities...

You should definitely do it, so easy to instal. There are a multitude of options but you'll probably only end up using a handful but the ones I use are really handy (quick delete being one)
