thank you Simon, that is where we are going weather dependant.
I went to Lakeside last year and felt it was a good spot, stupidly hot but we won`t have that issue this year.
There is a treeline about 400m away from the parking area and the planes are pretty much straight on towards you and then they circle around back toward the base.

Weather forecast for Sunday isn't too clever according to BBC so I will now wait for next year....
Looking pretty grim this weekend but Sunday is probably the best of a bad bunch. Shame for everyone that has been looking forward to it.

If it wasn't for Birdfair in Rutland I would've tried to brave Sunday but it's a lot of driving for the weekend. And I've not yet sorted out my lenses for RIAT.....
