I've taken these two pictures, which one is the better one?
The first one I managed to get the words "precious ring" in the picture :)

a good idea - however; the top part of the rings seem soft on focus to me :shrug: what aperture did you shoot these at may I ask?

Yep i'd second les's point about insufficient Dof - there also seems to be a bit of a warm cast like you shot this under sodium with a daylight WB

(also the idea is pretty cliched tbh - every second wedding tog does it - usually on st pauls letter to the corinthians )

Thanks for the comment, yes the idea is cliched but I entered this pic in a just for fun comp as the theme was rings.
The shot was taken on my bed and lighting was just a bed side lamp :p
