Saab 340 prop blur, Atlantic Airways 146 and RJ85

Just a few from Sumburgh..

I tried, and eventually succeeded, to get full disc blur on the Saab 340s that come here. Had to go right down to 1/80 so messed up LOTS of shots before getting one in reasonable focus. Unfortunately I chopped half the tail off so just cropped it to show the prop instead.

Nice and bright images with good prop blur,could that not be achieved with the chopper ?

I didn't try going for blur on the S92 - even at 1/80 I still can't get much, by then the rest of the chopper is usually more blurred than the blades, lol.

No1 is spot on in my book, I like the crop as well as the blur on the prop. Not keen on the heli though, it's not the lack of blur I think it is the crop used.
