Samyang 8mm f3.5 Aspherical IF MC Fisheye CS Lens -

I am thinking of buying this lens to try my hand at distorted type Architecture photography, seeing as the lens is relative cheap at around £250

Anyone have any points or advice good or bad , before I order one ?? ( yes I know its manual focus only) The DOF is magnificent or so I'm told

theres the peleng 8mm which is cheaper, and wider angle, but maybe not as sharp, but you can get it in m42 mount, so very adaptable

Its a cracking lens Les, I really enjoyed using it when I borrowed one on an nma meet a while back, oh and mind your feet and fingers

It's a fun lens to use- keeping the horizon half way up the frame stops horizon curvature.
Getting the exposure correct can be fun too.

sonys are really good with exposure + random lens. i shot some stuff using a adaptall lens... and then saw the camera was on auto... pics where fine
