Managed to escape Houston on a recent work trip for a couple of days of holiday including some fantastic birding.

Stunning little wader Gareth, we get a few colour ringed birds in our flocks each year, always interesting to find out their history.

the low POV on that last one makes it a stand out. I think if you lost a bit more of the out of focus area at the bottom, then it would be even stronger

Thanks for the comments, I really enjoyed watching these little birds, running around almost like little mice. Being a landlubber its was first time I have really seen them. Very trusting would happily come very close, whilst avoiding the traffic on the beach. Pooley thanks for the suggestion will look to see if I have room to re-frame the last image.

Great images, Sanderlings are wonderful little bird. I agree that number 3 should be cropped a little at the bottom. Not the easiest of birds so well done.
