Hi Rob
If you had the time? a few paces to the right may have given you a better background.
If you are going to loose the feet then a closer shot of the head would have been better especially with a beak full and not some poor kids ice cream
Exposure does not look to bad at all on the gull

I see what you mean now about the back ground. I didn't have much time at all tbh, as soon as it spotted me walking it buggered off

Do you think a crop would work better then?

If I had it my way! I'd cut off all seagulls feet!! Thieving so and so's!!!
