.. not sure about the age bit but you are dead right ... ... it is certainly a Common Gull ... ... although not as common as some ... :shrug:

Good shot and is that blue summery looking sky I see behind him now that's a rare capture

that ''blue summery sky'' behind him is indeed a rarity..shot last week in Cornwall where the sun shone but everyone shivered with icy winds
