Sunday I went down to the Emsworth area of Langstone/Chichester Habour for the first time (also the first coastal trip since I acquired a 500mm f4 lens) . The light/cloud cover wasn't ideal, but I had fun rolling around in the stinky mud (reminder: must clean tripod...) and came away with some photos I'm happy with. Hope you enjoy!

Nice clean set Paul

I must make more of an effort to get to the coast.

Second redshank is the pick although it is maybe a little tight in the frame

Stan

All beautifully photographed Paul, I couldn't pick any one over the rest,

Geoff

give the first two a little more space and experiment with the composition, (placing of the subject) ... they are the two interesting images

IMHO they are far too tight in the frame

The second shot is glorious - spot on, even the drop on the end of it's nose er, I mean bill.

The second Redshank is a lovely shot with a nice low v/p, also like the first Black-headed Gull but would have liked a little more room around it.
