Selective colouring

I know I've posted this in my Aerial photography project thread, but I'm rather pleased with how this one turned out esp as it was (and is) a grey dismal day with not a hint of sun

Since it is in effect a "creation" I thought it would be better posted here

You're right about the light - pretty dull day. How about posting the original and a mono version to compare?

Are the hut colours really this drab and repetitive or have you desaturated them? Normally huts like this are in fairly vibrant colours, but maybe this place is an exception to that. I think the big park area on the left and bottom doesn't help the overall balance of the photo and I'm wondering if a crop into the first hut at bottom right would help?

Cheers for the feedback, muchly appreciated, I'll find and upload the original, but it was a shot to nothing as the day was very poor.
The huts are really that drab and repetitive even in sunshine lol.

I quite like it Emily. Perhaps a little to the left just to bring the far right hut into view.
