A shield bug on the leaf of a peony, during a damp afternoon rainy day. There was still a bit of rain falling but too light to show in the images, though I could see the droplets clearly on the material of the softbox and the top of the camera by the time I had taken a few shots.

Nice set Paul, some good angles there but I think the first is my fave.

The rain has certainly helped to saturate the colour of the foliage as well as saturating the poor bug as well.. :)
