As title, Long Time Dead (mates band) playing in staffs Friday night, a small selection of the 80 or so I got .

1st doesn't work for me. Poor composition and timing imo.

However, very different story for the second 2.

The tones, composition and focus are beatiful on the 2nd shot. Well thought out and just the right dof. I'd be tempted to clone out the guy above the drummer's head though.

The third is fantastically timed, well lit, and well thought out. Shame you cut the top off the drum stick.

Dont know about "real winner"??? They make good record shots but not shots for records.
Think about Interaction between band members. Have you got one of the band they can use?
