Sigma 28-70ƒ2.8 EX DX reviews

I'm thinking of getting this but would like a better insight into the lens from people that have used it.
Done a search but have found nothing.

the low end of that might be a bit long on a cropped sensor. I have just bought a 24-70 and that might even be too much!
